What you believe, you become.

You’ve heard this quote many times in many different ways I’m sure– “If you can believe it, you can achieve it”.

It’s so true, and it’s one of my favorite quotes. But, instead of achieving something, I like to think of it of becoming something. If you achieve something, like say, winning a bikini competition for instance, great! But what did you become? Did you become a better person? Did you grow at all? In my opinion, that’s what matters.

On my second day of prep I’m here thinking to myself, oh dear Lord why did I do this to myself? I love chips and guac and salsa way too much. I love the occasional binge dessert eating a lot. I love sleeping in and not doing cardio. So why do I do it?

I compete mainly to become something better. Because I know that not only does my body transform during this time, but so does my mind. And that’s what keeps me going–the belief that I will become a better person when I’ve reached my goal.

And that’s what I want for you! I want you to become your best self through strength training exercises not only with your body, but your mind. Teach yourself to Think Beyond Average and really feel what it’s like to create the future you want to see and feel.

See the goal? Great. Believe it’s yours. Become that person you want to be. Keep progressing and leveling up and your life sacrifices will become something thats just normal. They won’t seem like sacrifices. They will be ingredients to your success of becoming the person you want to become.

Stay strong and believe in yourself.
